The cycle
Most people stuck in doomscrolling are not lazy. They are caught in a loop that feeds itself.

Willpower alone rarely breaks the cycle. You need something that steps in for you.
Complete productivity or mindfulness exercises, focus sessions, and todos. Your tree gains health when you show up.
Hit 15 minutes of cumulative use across your monitored apps and Seez'n blocks them. Your tree's HP drops with each penalty.
The people you added ahead of time get an email that your tree died because you scrolled too much.

FAQ
Seez'n is an iOS app that helps you break the scroll cycle. You understand what pulls you in, get automatically blocked when you overscroll, and grow a tree that reflects the habits you build.
You choose which apps to monitor. When your cumulative time across those apps hits 15 minutes in a day, Seez'n blocks them for 1 hour and your tree's HP takes a penalty. The limit is shared across all monitored apps, not per app.
You pick the apps that pull you into passive scrolling. Seez'n uses Apple's Screen Time APIs (Family Controls) on your iPhone to measure time in those apps and apply blocks. After 15 minutes of cumulative use in a day, the apps block automatically. Apple processes usage on your device; we sync only what's needed for your tree's HP (for example, penalty events and your selected-apps configuration) - not your full Screen Time history. You stay in control of which apps are monitored.
Your tree's HP is your long-run habit score. It goes up when you complete exercises, focus sessions, todos, and sleep protection. It goes down when you trigger overscroll penalties. There is no cap - the number keeps growing as you build better habits.
Seez'n is built with privacy in mind. We do not sell your data or use it for behavioral advertising. Screen Time limits run through Apple on your device; we store account and progress data (including mood logs and Tree updates you choose to save) securely in the EU via Firebase so your tree stays in sync. Mood and reflection entries are optional - you consent by saving them, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account from the App at any time.
Seez'n is iOS for now. Android is coming soon.
Your tree dies and your Tree's Will runs - the people you added ahead of time get an email.
Start understanding yourself, break the scroll cycle, and grow something real.
